Course overview

This Higher National Certificate introduces the commercial side of construction, from take-off and estimating through to cost control on live projects. You will develop numeracy, specification literacy, and professional communication suited to consultant and contractor environments. The programme aligns with Higher Technical Qualification standards for quantity surveying roles.

Entry requirements

  • Level 3 qualification (e.g. T Level, BTEC, A levels) including Maths or a construction subject
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
  • Industry experience may be considered for mature learners
