Course overview

This pre-service PGCE develops pedagogical knowledge, curriculum planning, and inclusive teaching strategies for the lifelong learning sector. Structured placement hours build classroom confidence under mentor supervision. The programme supports progression toward QTLS via the Society for Education and Training.

Entry requirements

  • Honours degree or equivalent in subject area you wish to teach
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
  • Literacy and numeracy skills tests or equivalents as required
  • Teaching placement access arranged with programme support
