UCO expands academic partnership with Sheffield Hallam University

University Campus Oldham has strengthened its long-standing partnership with Sheffield Hallam University through a renewed validation agreement covering selected honours and postgraduate programmes.

The partnership ensures that students completing foundation degrees and HNDs at UCO can progress to Sheffield Hallam awards with clear articulation routes, while new programmes in education and health will benefit from shared academic oversight and quality assurance processes.

Representatives from both institutions met at University Way to sign the agreement and discuss joint scholarly activity, staff development and student exchange opportunities. Sheffield Hallam colleagues praised UCO's track record in supporting learners who may be the first in their family to enter higher education.

Students currently enrolled on validated programmes will see no change to their award titles or assessment arrangements. Prospective applicants can view full progression pathways on individual course pages.
