New collaborative learning spaces open at University Way

University Campus Oldham has opened newly refurbished collaborative learning spaces within University Way, the dedicated higher education building on the Oldham campus.

The upgrade includes flexible group study rooms, improved Wi-Fi infrastructure, charging points and quiet zones designed for independent research. Graphic design and game art studios received additional industry-standard equipment as part of the same investment programme.

Library and learning resources staff will deliver induction sessions showing students how to book rooms and access digital collections. The Students' Union representative welcomed the changes, noting that demand for informal study space had grown with increased enrolment on university-level programmes.

Campus tours at upcoming open events will include the new facilities. Current students can book tours through the library helpdesk.
