University Campus Oldham learner wins brand agency placement

A University Campus Oldham graphic design student has secured a sought-after placement with a regional creative agency after presenting a portfolio developed through studio modules and live client briefs on the BA (Hons) programme.

The placement, which runs across the summer, will see the student working on branding, digital campaigns and print production alongside experienced art directors and strategists. Tutors highlighted the student's ability to translate research into visual concepts and their proactive approach to networking at UCO industry showcase events.

Programme leader for Creative Arts & Design said: "Our students graduate with professional-standard portfolios because they work on real briefs from day one. This placement is a fantastic recognition of that talent."

The Creative Arts team continues to strengthen employer links across Oldham and Manchester, with guest lectures and portfolio reviews scheduled throughout the academic year.
